Bio

Ellen Cochran is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing from Purdue Global. She is passionate about providing comprehensive mental health care to individuals across the lifespan, for a wide range of mental health diagnoses. Ellen was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MN, bringing valuable knowledge and resources about the community to her patients. She has been a nurse since 2018 and has a background in geriatric nursing and public health nursing. Through her work in public health, she soon realized what a need there is for passionate and dedicated mental health providers.

With a deep commitment to improving mental health outcomes in her community, she brings both expertise and compassion to her work, offering evidence-based care to those struggling with mental health challenges. A passionate advocate for mental health, Ellen is committed to destigmatizing mental illness and empowering her patients to achieve their best possible outcomes.

Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, being outdoors, vacationing, fishing, spending time on the lake, a new-found enjoyment for golfing, and going out to new restaurants. Although Ellen has already visited some amazing places, she has a never-ending travel bucket list that includes everything from exploring ancient ruins to lounging on secluded beaches!
